Lead by Serving
Leadership at CLIFF is not simply a position of responsibility; it is a deeper commitment to the mission of evangelization through faithful service.
The CLIFF Leadership Team consists of members who have embraced the mission of the Catechetical Literacy Catholic Faith Forum as an integral part of their personal ministry. They provide spiritual, pastoral, and administrative leadership while working together to advance the vision and mission of the forum.
Leadership is open to members who demonstrate spiritual maturity, commitment, a willingness to serve, and a passion for helping others grow in the Catholic faith.
Faithful Formation
Leaders are committed to continuous personal and spiritual formation. They strive to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and grow in their relationship with Christ so that they can serve as authentic witnesses to the Gospel.
Shared Responsibility
Leadership is collaborative. Members work together in planning, discerning, organizing, and evaluating the activities of the forum while remaining faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church and the vision of CLIFF.
Weekly Leadership Meetings
Leaders participate in regular leadership meetings dedicated to planning upcoming bi-weekly discussions, reviewing ongoing activities, praying together, and discerning the future direction of the ministry.
Presentation and Moderation
Leaders play an active role in preparing, presenting, and moderating CLIFF’s bi-weekly discussions. Through this process they receive ongoing practical formation in catechesis, communication, facilitation, and leadership.
Prayer and Spiritual Support
Leadership begins with prayer. Leaders actively support the mission through regular prayer, spiritual reflection, and intercession for the growth of CLIFF, its members, and the wider mission of the Church.
Formation Through Service
Leadership at CLIFF is also a journey of formation. Members benefit from ongoing in-house mentoring, practical learning, and shared experiences as they grow together in faith, service, and leadership.
Who Should Apply?
Leadership may be suitable for members who:
